mid-redecorate ... we took out the Parthenon and got a cheap little thingy so Crusty the clown pleco would have a cave, although he prefers the anubias. Getting driftwood tonight ...
And, the new planted betta tank! I think he might make it.

Once I've got my 55-gal all established (and I have some more money) I would love to do a nice tank like that for a betta.

Poor Arthur has had a rough life so far. He was in my community tank but didn't do so hot, as you can see by his fins. So now he's got a tank almost all his own and I'm sure he's happier. The small clown pleco in there won't bother him.

Yeah, he's doing much better and it's only been a few days. So now we ended up with THREE tanks because of all the drama, and once the 10 gallon is set up and running, we're thinking we'll get a school of little puffers. They are pretty cool to watch and they stay small.

haha, Kris is already looking for space for a 55 or 75 gallon cichlid tank. Our house is 960 sf. Maybe we'll just get rid of the dining room table ...

Thanks! I need to get some better pictures of the driftwood. It is actually a really cool piece with the root of something else twisting through the holes inside, and holes and passageways through it going every which way. Needless to say Crusty the pleco loves it, and the other fish chase each other through the gap in the middle.
