I think your tank looks interesting! Best idea I can think of is to work on it together. By letting your fiance pick out the decor, you both have an interest and the project won't come between you.....
That is very similar to the way that my husband would decorate a tank! LOL! He is obsessed with asian culture, and he thinks that the natural look of all of my aquariums is boring. If we got an aquarium like yours, he would be stoked! It is nice that you and your fiance are working together on the project though. So far it looks good
I have the two on the right in my 5g. I've love to get a 30g and get one of the dragons like that for a betta, loach and harlequin rasbora tank. I like natural themes but I love those decorations even more ^^; I went with black gravel because I wasn't sure how a lighter substrate would look but I'm glad to see the decorations look very nice, very bright Great job, looking good.
That looks amazing! Where did your fiance get the decor from not seen anything like that in LFS. Makes me think I should of let my fiance choose my decor but it would of probably been pink with butterflies. The face on the dragon also looks like that bad guy out of Samurai Jack. LOL
well, at least you don't have blue gravel or hot-pink plants and a 'no fishing' sign. i like the natural stuff, but yours isn't so bad. can't wait to see what my 9 year old daughter chooses when she gets a tank.
