| My first tank...dont laugh... sorry terrible pics....not good as a photographer yet, still learning. its a 20 gallon, work in progress, as money becomes available. cant take a good enough pic to be able to see my fish though. only thing left i really want to do is build a multi level, rock, shelf/cave on the right side of the tank and add in a couple real plants. cant wait to upgrade to a 50 gallon with more space.
fish:
(3x) spotted danios
(1x) zebra danio
(3x) white cloud minnows
going to add to complete the aquarium:
(3x) rummy nose tetra's
(1x) dwarf gourami
(1x) colorfull fish...maybe rainbow...still undecided Last edited by ER9; January 23rd, 2008 at 12:22 AM.

| thanks for the comments....i really love it. only thing i would do diffrent next time is get it set up before i add fish :P
my poor fish have suffered as i have been adding a piece here...piece there. would be nice to finish it and let them settle in. only problem is finding nice rock that isn't way overpriced. |

| i fully agree... some decorations are WAY overpriced. i mean if i had a mold of a sunken ship and the equipment to make one i'd totally do it but i just dont have that possibility.. $50 (real price 70 but i had a coupon) for a piece of plastic is a bit much in my opinion but hey.. it makes the tank look neat.. |

I cant even bring myslef after two weeks to look at the reciept for the big lava rock in my tank. that sucker is easily 15+ pounds |

| "Don't laugh" Are you kidding? That tank looks AWESOME. Great work.
It's a good thing I don't have your job or I'd not be able to move around my house. I'd be walled in with tanks lol. Good luck with that. |

| looks better then my 39gal...
but I think I need to add more plants :/
very nice good job on your frist try
Also erm your fish stocking, basically they're all fast swimming fish and need alot of space... so this is my suggestion:
Get a pair of Dwarf Gourami's, and then fill the rest with a trio of Corys, bristlenose plec or some a trio of ottos. And then for some colour go for guppies or endlers...
Or maybe even some mollies if you can get some nice coloured ones. |

| For your first tank, you did an incredible job with the aquascaping. I can tell you really planned it out and put thought into it. Sometimes it is good to add stuff slowly like you did because you can take your time and really get it to look the way that you want it to. Congrats on your first tank. It looks awesome! BTW, I really envy your ablility to make tanks at work. It's probably good that I don't have that luxury or my house would be so full! |
