Almost finished paludarium!
Well here is the almost finish product. I just need to setup the waterfall, add the fish, and do the hose from the pump to thee reservoir.
I will get a second pic with waterfall running and hoses connected, etc. BAsically when I complete it.

Wow that's really cool! It didn't seem like it took you too long to do it either.
Will you make me one now??

Hehe for a price. I really did most of it today. The siliconing doesn't take long it just takes forever to cure completely.

Wow... you've done a job that most people twice your age and years more experience than you have no attempted, and you pulled it off with flying colors. Congrats Cory. Tell your mom we said she needs to be extra proud of ya.... for a little while, atleast.

So far it looks awesome, congrats. However, I have a concern you should be aware of. I can't tell, the picture is too small, but are your plants real? The reason I ask is I caught what you said about having a waterfall. If this is the case, you will most likely have too much water action for submerged plants to survive. The fast flowing water will leach all the CO2 from the water and suffocate them, trust me, I found this out the hard way. Have you researched this aspect?
However, if you plan on planting around and over the water, you could still use most Sword plants, and a lot of other "Bog" plants and make a killer garden.

I am not sure I follow that.
If he were injecting CO2, I would agree, but since he is not, I have my doubts.
There is more CO2 in the air than in normal water, so the CO2 would go from the higher concentration in the air to the lower concentration in the water.
This is done by diffusion.

Its not a waterfall as you would think like a cascade but it kinda drips down more than flows. Ill try to snap0 a pic of it. and I will post the finished product.

Haha me to. I got my Whites/Dumpy tree frog today. He is very happy in his new home. He was with 3 others in a like 10 gallon(pone of those ones special made with the BG already in and it opens in front. He ate his crickets already. He is brown ATM but changes from bright green to a medium brown. I am about to turn the lights off so I get to see how he is at night they are supposed to be very active. I will have to get pics up soon.
Thanks for all the comments I really appreciate it. I am going to have to get some screen for the previous filter holes(I have landscaping fabric over it atm. It is fogged up beyond belief I had to prop the lid open a tenny tiny bit just enough for some air).

Great tank I have a 29gal with damage to front and side with little chip out of both doesnt leak but don't want to trust filling it with water do u think it would be safe for the dry side of one like youres? if so I have the next project after I finish my new 29gal tank long story chip tank was given 2 me housed a snake bought everything for fish and when I got the tank I saw the chip about 3" up from the bottom was bummed so I bought a new one put together fast read my thread 4 why its not even halfway done. Was also thinking of ways to make it rain in tank useing timer to water the plants from under a canopy. 1 more thing. do you think I would be able to lower the waterfall so I would be able to keep crabs and frogs in the tank or mabe crawfish there go escape artist? you gave me a ton of idea's hope u dont mind if I bounce them off ya?
