This is the one that I got home w/ and when I realized what was on the fish and that it had actually been "tatooed" wanted to go back and beat the heck out of the lady at the pet shop:

poor little tatooed fish, i hope his fins aren't always clamped. Tanks looks great though.

Thanks, I am so po'ed about that poor fish, and the fact (I have another post about the ick that I got from this same store bad expericence) its not even funny.. this poor little guy gets special care.... I feel so sorry for him!

I hope he does, I am so new w/ the aquariums! I am researching this as I am going, however my hubby has a bachlors in enviromental science and has studied each species of fish/reptile etc he has helped me more than any research has.
He is actually wanting to buy me a bigger tank this weekend!! and I think I want some ciclids!

You could get them done for animal care, most probably.

i didn't know you could keep plecos in 10g?!

You can when they're very little, but most plecos will outgrow a 10g rather quickly.

I am actually getting a 29gallon and a 100 gallon tank rather soon, so when he outgrows his surroundings he will have bigger better places.

He'll love the 100g.. plenty of room in there to grow to full size and swim around at night.

Cute..I'd watch those black skirt tetra...they are very aggressive with themselves. We had 8 in our 120g...they constantly fought...but they were all rather large.

Ours in the 120g swims all day long....he has been very personable since we got him.
