What'd you choose out of Angels, Dwarf Goruamis or Albino Rainbow Shark?

Ok do you think I'd be able to fit a trio in?

In your 39g? I think 3 could fit in it, but might be best to just have a pair due to territory issues.

ok. will do.

I know the zebra danios will be ok to stay in the tank with the angels... the guppies will move back... The males, babies will hopefully be accepted by the LFS, the Pleco can stay. And I may get a trio or 4 corydoras

So 125 Stock:
2 Angels
6 Zebra Danios
Plecostamus *grows to 5"*
3-4 Corydoras

is that all I could have or could I fit some other fish in?

i enjoy fish.
im trying to get my female guppy to motherhood
i now have a 10 gallon tank
i wont be naming the exact names of these fish 2 tetras (black skirt)
2 daniels (zebra)
and others.
i allso have 1 gourmie.
they say you should have at least 1 plant at the top.
i think my female guppy is pregnant so i put those lil plants they have for the fry in the tank,1 at the bottom and one at the top...my gourmie is shy allready as it is,now all he ever does is HIDE under that top plant!
do gourmies eat guppy fry?
now if they do my babys wont have that extra baby plant thing at the top to hide in with out getting eatin!
thats what i need (a tea cup for them)
any help with all that?

but my molly tore his tail apart and he died (so as the other 2 fish she killed)

any fish will eat any fry really... they consider it as live-food.

Well couldn't find my little pleco anywhere last night, move some wood around today and he's dead

Think I'm gonna get my Bearded Dragon Vivarium sorted out first.

Before buying anymore fish.
Now people have told me the only way to get Nitrate down is by water changes but what if the water out of the tap is that high? Then what can I do?

Live plants use Nitrates for food. I imagine planting the tank pretty heavily would pull the Nitrates down.

Definitely plants and water changes are the best for high nitrates. Also, using a water conditioner like Prime.

Sorry to hear that you found your little pleco dead.

right
more plants need to be added then :/

looks like I won't be going out clubbing for my 18th by the looks of things, need to buy stuff for the 125 aswell as stuff for my bearded dragon vivarium.

What plants would you lot suggest
I would like something hardy, but easy to keep, possible something for the back of the tank like Vallis, maybe some foreground plants aswell.

I will be getting 2 Angels once it's all sorted just so you know what kind of plants I can go for.

Also I may put the water in my 9gal guppy and cory tank into my 125 to level the nitrate out abit more aswell

So it'd most likely be guppy, corries and 2 angels in the tank aswell as another one of those lil pleco's

I know the angels will most probably go for the guppies, but if they're babies, hopefully they'll make peace from an early age

EDIT: I have some Seachem Prime, but I think I put it in when the carbon filter was in the filter, so I'll put some in now, but first get the ratings

Ammonia: 0.25-0.50ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 20-40ppm *so it's dropping *

just added 3 threads of Seachem Prime

I'd post a question in the plants section on the best plants to get. I'm just getting back into live plants, so you'll get much better answers from our members who know a lot about plants.

well I just done the project under go taking some water out of my 39gal and then putting most the water in the 9Gal into my 39gal, and in the process got 1/4 mouth of fish water... Lovely! Never have I spat something out of my mouth so fast!!!

Also whilst catching the fish in my 9gal there was this little green thing... That moved by wagging it's tail... Any idea what it is?

Also once the 39gal was full, I also moved the fluval 2 from the 9gal into the 39, and found the little green thing on the suction cups for the fluval, but now he's down the sink plug hole

Hopefully this'll sort out any of my test result problems... As it has 3 corries living in the 9gal water, so can't be too bad right?

You didn't happen to take a picture of it? It could have been a worm or maybe a fry?

Ok so my 9 gal is currently nearly 1/4 full of cold and old water, currently being unfiltered, and has a load of snails in it lol.

But I do have a plan for it

1. Throw it out...
2. Try and do something with it.
3. Buy loads of sand, and put a declining hill using the sand, then put loads of dwarf hairgrass all done the hill. Buy a filter for it. And then use it as a betta tank or a endlers tank or the hospital/fry tank.
