Thank you! it's not a lot in total gallons and doesn't compare to Tim's fish house or Dino's fish house but it saves us having any knick-knacks to dust off.

Hi Dave & Stacy
I just came across your thread of new tanks and fish. I love your black angel.. its gorgeous! I like the fish that are in with the Angel. I havent seen that kind before and it seems that they get along great with the angel?
Can you tell me any more about them?
thanks,
 ~ kate

Sigh, that would take up a lot of room on the sleigh.
But I will see what I can do.

Thanks! Fred's a cool angel & he needs a female his size when we find one.
The cichlids in the tank with Fred are Julidochromis marlieri (Burundi). We won a bag of 5 of them at the big fish auction and when a breeding pair forms, the other 3 will have to go. I love them, they're so interesting to watch and their fins are beautiful. Here's a couple links for them:

WOW... very interesting on these fish in those articles. I see with the preference for a PH of 8.6, very hard water, it will never work in my tanks. They seem very difficult to raise and keep with the requirements and the temperament needs. Very shy and then aggressive when paired off, dont change the rock formation or they get stressed and will kill each other off. WOW... well.... anyway... share photos from time to time! lol... they are very kewl looking fish and I wish you the best of luck with them.

yea. we love all our bettas, but the girls do tend to be smarter and more playful/curious - which is typical for Betta Splendens, from what we've researched.

yea, our pH here is about 7.8 and they are from a local breeder, so they've adjusted to it. For now, they're pretty young, but we'll have to make some changes to the tank before they get too much older.

We found a new home for our Red fancy Guppies, move Angel into a new tank, moved the Geissen Guppies in with the Platies, moved the Amecas into the old Guppy tank and moved the Endlers into the old Amecas tank.
We're down to 11 tanks running, 9 tanks empty (and waiting for fry and new fish).
