Joe S's 10 gallon
Here's a picture of my 10g tank, followed by a somewhat blurry one of my two cories, and two of my zebra danios. The cory on the right is my one-eyed cory; don't know how he lost his left eye (I think I got him that way), but it doesn't seem to bother him in the least that it's gone.

i love those cories and there's a petsmart near us that has a big bowfront tank featuring (not for sale) a 1-eyed Oranda that never had a 2nd eye.

Thanks! It's actually about half artificial and half live plants, but its hard to tell which are artificial unless you look closely.
(And I see from the picture that one of the suction cups holding my air lines came loose -- I'll have to fix that...)

LOL I noticed that too, thought it was just a reflection in the glass. I also have a mix of live and artificial plants. I find that the silk plants look so much like real, and I dont have to worry about the plant dieing.
Tho I really do like live plants much better and I believe its better for the fish as well.

The artificial ones are actually plastic, but I plan on using mostly silk in my new tank. I also planted two aponogeton bulbs in there about a week ago, but they've not really sprouted yet.
Here's my new 56g tank -- the fish are very shy.

thats a 56 tall tank. What do you plan on putting in there? Angelfish would be great with some rummy nose tetras and a few corys.

Yea, Angelfish are on the list, as are corys. Maybe some clown loches or a ruby shark, definitely some cherry barbs and zebra danios, and I've also been considering some harlequin barbs. But it'll be a while, as the tank isn't in its final home yet -- I still have to move bookshelves and run a power outlet to where it will be. So probably mid-November before I get it going.

Yea, no. If I get into SW at all, at any point in the future, it'll be with a nano reef. I'm just happy to finally have a big FW tank.

Yours is probably one of the best looking 10 gallon setups I've ever seen! My 10 gallon doesn't even compare to yours (however, mine's temporary until I get my 46 gallon). I love your corys, they're precious!

Thanks! I have a 56 gallon waiting to be setup, but I like the way the 10 looks too, and plan to keep it going. It's on the main floor of the house, so I see it when I come in (the new tank will be down one floor in the family room), and it's a nice sight after a hard day at work.

Update on the 10g -- the plants have gone wild! Current residents are 2 honey gourami, two three-line corys, a zebra danio, and maybe an oto and a panda cory (haven't seen them in a couple of days).
