new fish

today i just bought a brown knilfe fish. along with it i have a angel fish, pleco and a molly fry and soon i am getting another angel fish maybe an eel if they can get along. and i keep them in a 30 gallon.

What type of pleco? I think your tank might be overstocked with the knife fish. I don't know how big they grow, but other knifes get really big and need a big tank. You might want to hang off to get the other angel until someone else replies to this. But enough harshness, the tank sounds really neat, are there any pics?

I looked up the brown knife fish and it has pretty much the same requirements as any knifefish - apparently it can get pretty big, too, up to 16", so it might eat your molly fry ad even your angels (I read a report from one guy who has a black ghost knifefish eat all the fins and eyes off the larger fish in the tank and swallow all the guppies...). So I advise caution, but it might work, at least until the brown knife is fully grown

i know how big it gets and when it gets too big i plan on trading it in for another smaller one and it gets along with my other fish.
