More updates - see my site for some more pics!

There are several fish I'm considering adding next. I want a bottom feeder (my plec is awesome but only eats algae), so may get some cories, but what I really want is an L-number plec, L260 - I have lots of schooling fish already, although hatchetfish are also tempting. And I also want to add some larger peaceful fish, bolivian rams or keyhole cichlids maybe - or I might have another go at Blue Rams, although having read further on their sensitivity I am discouraged, because my water isn't acidic and soft. Bolivians seem a lot hardier.

Ah yes, they are very nice. Are they more peaceful than dwarf gouramis? I had a lot of trouble with aggression from a male dwarf.

Here are a few I'm interested in..

I kinda want this species of Chocolate Gourami... it's amazing

£15 - £25, though, and apparently very rarely in the trade.

I think my LFS should be able to order an L260 for me, as they occasionally have L-numbers in the shop.

And clown killifish are wonderful. I'll have to ask my LFS about those.

A lot of beautiful dwarf cichlids to choose from, too, although I'm still leaning towards Bolivians.

So many gorgeous and unattainable fish!

always gotta pay the extra $20-30 for those amazing fish...though they are probably well worth it

on the pearl gouramis, mine contrast with the plants' color really well, and they show very, very little aggresion for a gourami

Callum, you've got me thinking about cockatoos now! I've read up a bi more on them, and it sounds like they are a lot hardier than other dwarfs. I'll have to look into them further. Thanks!

And finally, a decently photo of Eric and Ursula! This photo really sums up their personalities. Eric is always chasing Ursula, you can tell by the way she's looking at him that she's annoyed lol

Wow..! Just went to check on the tank, one of my shrimp was out feeding - and his colours are amazing.

A lot of the time my bamboo shrimp are a dull grey/greenish-brown colour. I've never seen them this red.

Thanks Kevin

Yeah, I've thought about that; but I have no idea how to sex them, and they mostly just seem to ignore each other. I have seen them red before, but not quite this bright! I hope it means he's happy, anyway.

Beautiful female angels! Our male would love to have one of them for a tankmate, I'm sure.

Thanks I'm really pleased with them. So they're both female? Does that mean they'll get along in the future?

On second look, the one might be male but I'm not really sure on it. I am leaning towards male looking at the slight difference in the head shape and fins. The other is definitely female.

Thank you for that It's good to hear from someone who can recognise the sexes, I looked really closely but I couldn't tell at all Is the "tall" one the female?
