lol I hear ya. I can only work 1 day a week and can make anywhere from $15 to $100. (waitress) and my expenses are much more than that! lol

So bad news, Sarah, the bamboo shrimp died. :-( I'm not even sure why. Water was fine.

So! I need a big update here. I'll have to post some pictures when I have a moment.

For a while I had a dwarf gourami named Mr. Miyagi and 5 neon cardinals collectively called the karate kids. Mr. Miyagi died about a year ago and he was accidentally replaced by a feeder goldfish named Goldie Hawn. (Long story)

Last weekend I returned from a little trip to find that Goldie Hawn had eaten all 5 of the karate kids!

So now I'm stuck with a fish I didn't want... but can't stand to give up... AND I know that Goldie needs a bigger tank.... *sigh*

I don't know what to do. I want other fish!

I really like that tank and the skirt!

Your blue ornament-is it a pantheon? If so, where did you get it and "who" is it? We have Buddha in two of our tanks, and this would be a great addition for one of our other tanks.

Sorry I can't really help you out much. All that I know is that it is a Buddha Statue in meditation pose (Dhyana mudra). It's not an actual aquarium decoration. I bought it at a shop and had to go through a whole bunch to see if I could put it in my tank... but it was worth it! It looks great!
