Just thought I'd share whats in my tanks. I started out with just my 30 Gal Hex that my mother gave us but quickly caught MTS. We are now up to 4 tanks.

Keep it up! It sounds like you have caught the bug properly too! (How did the tetra end up in the filter?)

i had to read that a couple times to catch it.. Tetra is the brand name of very popular filters in the US but it really does look like there's a tetra living in the tank filter.

No worries. It's only called a Giant Gourami. Another name for it is the Thick Lipped Gourami. It actually will only get to be 4"-5" long.
