| I'd say that if the outcrosses are such a contrast then that would definetly be the case. One of the things about betta breeding that is interestings. Trying to fix a pattern but maintain line vitality. Maybe the best way would be to have a "tree" of sorts instead of a line. Do a spawn and keep three pairs to found three lines working towards parallel goals. You'd still have to outcross I suppose but the three lines might help fix the gene... <shrug>
I dunno. 
I'm gonna have to try a spawn one of these days, I like the genetics too much. rofl. |
