Oh man! How much did I miss over the holidays! haha

MM, your babies are always so cute! It's nice to be able to see the pictures. I love the little guy or gal in the last one. Such a cute expression!

How many fry have survived do you think to this point?

I have only found 4 dead ones so I'm going to guess 100 plus are still alive at week 3....A little overwhelming for sure...I'm going to have to move them to the 25 gallon grow out tank soon because of the volume of fry....

Here they are at 3 weeks old...And yes Shawnie, the ARE Chubettas! lol

Great pictures. Great explanations. Great job. I can't wait for some more updates on the babies and some more pictures as they age. This is a very enlightening blog/thread and you did a wonderful job with everything.

I moved the 1 month old babies to the toddler grow out tank yesterday...Wow, what a lot of work that was lol......There are 100's still alive! I have never seen a spawn this size at this age before.....Not sure what I did differently if anything to make them all live this long...

Here are a few of the cuties...They are coloring up nicely...Some are the deep orange/aqua like Daddy and others look more like Mommy.....

The kids are 6 weeks old now and things are going fantastic! They are all good eaters and are all still alive (which is amazing to me) They are really coloring up and it looks like I have several different shades of Mustard Gas ranging from powder blue to dark turquoise....

Here is a video of them in their 25 gallon gow out tank....

The kids are coloring up just beautiful at week 7...I moved 4 of the largest males into the 55 grow out tank...They are eating me out of house and home! lol...This spawn seems to be maturing at a very fast rate in comparassion to my others in the past...

Here are 2 of them at 7 weeks...The white boy is aqua/white/orange...The other boy is metallic aqua with orange MG coloring...
