I need to get a loach but dont want to get a big one ! Are there any loaches that aren't to big , I have a 75 gallon tank , also have a pleco in the tank ! He is almost 6 inches ! I dont like the loaches that are in the gravel!

I have 3 yo yo loaches and they get to be 4-5 inches long. They are very funny, and I highly recommend them!

i'd go with yoyo or kuhli loaches definitely, they stay relatively small, and you could easily fit 5 or 6 in your 75 gallon tank

what kind of pleco?

Nice link from Carol and if you want a small loach that does not stay in the gravel you could do much worse than Dwarf Chain Loaches, very entertaining schooling loaches that she enabled into my tank!

Dwarf chain Loaches are really cute And since they are small you can have more The larger a group of Loaches are the more comical they can be .

I would fear that the botia loach would eventually get eaten at mav size of 2.5". I prefer the yo-yo, several would really clean plants really well and they split up so clean more. They stay slim 5-6"slim is small for a large tank. They're like a worm, wiggly too.

LOL! Mine are not slim! They are piggies(I have to monitor how much I feed the tank, because they will eat anything in sight!) We have nicknamed them Orca, and Shamu! (Their original names are Ned Nedelander, Dusty Bottoms, and Lucky Day)

lol, i agree..

i had to adopt one last week because he was eating all the food that his owner put in the tank before anyone else could get to it. they also can get quite agressive as they get bigger.

bengal loach or zebra loach would be the best for you as they only grow to 6''.

All loaches lay eggs but are very unlikely to spawn in a home aquarium.
Loaches are social beings so which ever kind you choose they need to be in groups of three or more.
