yoyo's, khullis, or neither?

i have a 65 gallon with a pleco, rainbow shark, bolivian rams, dwarf neon rainbows, guppies, pearl gouramis and bleeding heart tetra.

what loach would be the best to have, if any?

I personally wouldn't add anything else then. He's going to be enough of a burden on your bioload without adding anything else.

loaches really need to be in groups of four or more, so i'd say you're good with what you have now

on second thought, you might be able to get some dwarf chain loaches. they only get to about 2.5 inches

those are cool looking loaches would my pleco and shark be over aggressive about new fish in their territory?

you might have some issues with the pleco and/or shark but i'm really not sure. i'm not very familiar with the sharks, but i know that plecos are generally very peaceful community fish........unless another bottom dweller comes into their territory

i would go with the Kuhli Loach, since they don't grow very large and are non-agressive

Yoyo's are known to be agressive to other tank members.. i adopted a yoyo 3 inch yoyo 3 days ago because it killed half it's tank mates - it seems to be happy with it's new tank mates (1 zebra loach, 32 clown loach)

I have yo-yos and i luv em' they're always out and even swim mid-level in my tall subslata;which they clean each stem, I never see them together, so one or two is fine nor have i seen them be aggressive. I didn't know that about them.K. loaches just bury themselves and you'll never see them, clowns hide alot and are larger so i think yo-yos.
Oh , the only thing you'll have to watch for is your rainbow giving the yo-yo the ramu treatment. My RB has a cave and no one goes in without getting the ramu treatment(RUT).

Since Loaches really need to be in groups of three or more to display their true natures and habits I really wouldn't recommend adding any. They need lots of hiding/sleeping places and seems the bottom of the tank is pretty well taken up
Cordi- 32 Clown Loaches? Must be a ginormous tank

at the moment they're in a 180l 4ft community which is way over stocked atm thx to the bristlenose and corys breeding

in a few days they will be moving into a new 4x2x2 400l, which is still too small for them but they will only be in it for a month - just waiting for my 6x2x2 loach tank to arrive

as for kuhli loach - they're quite active once they start to grow, only hiding when they're small, in my experience anyway
