A few dwarf loach questions

I really fancy getting these fish, but will they be ok in my tank? My PH is 7.0 to 7.5 with a Gh of 10 and from what i've read they need less. But i was wondering with them being breed for conservation and also the aquatic trade they would be okay with this? I do want them to thrive rather than just survive though. Also my tank has only been cycled 3 week,is this too early? At moment i have a 240l planted tank with 3 zebra danio's n 1 leopard so no issues with stocking. Im thinking of getting 10 dwarf loaches, will be grateful for any thoughts on this cheers.

That would be a great size tank for the dwarf loaches and they acclimate very well if you do it slowly. The only concern I see is the length of time the tank has been set up. I personally would wait at least a couple of weeks. Heres some interesting info on them.

I'd love these too, but my tank is too small, right (29G)?

I was wondering if they ate snails.

I think Rose has some in a 15-20, but I'm not sure, you'd have to ask her.

Serious?! That's fabulous news. If you say it's OK, then it's OK. You would never deliberately put an animal in an uncomfortable situation.

Thanks I would recommend a group though. Loaches absolutely love others of their own kind.

Oh yes, that's absolutely what I was going to do. I'd like to get only 3, though (stocking-wise, woudlnt' be clever to go much above that). Do you think that's too little?
