In my tank, at the moment, i have 4 platys. 2 are male and 2 are female, technically this isn't bad, but 1 male is the father of them and is nearly two times bigger than the ladies. He teams up with the other male and chase the females endlessly. They try to hide behind the plants, but its no match for the double team. I am worried the females might get seriously hurt. What shall i do!?

usually with livebearers, its best to keep them 1male for every 2-3females...that way they dont stress or kill the galz from non stop harassing ...

ya just get more female or less males so you 1 male for every 2 females so the females take turns getting harassed.
it should be like this for all live bearers.
