A baby! But what is it??

Hi Everyone!
Today I noticed a baby in the tank for the first time, but I am not sure what it is. We have 6 male guppies and 5 mollies, 3 of which are black and two are marbled. Only one of the mollies is female. The baby fish looks like a guppy in shape and is clear. If it is a molly will it get its colour later? If it is a guppy, how??

wow - I had no idea!!
Have I created a gollie? or a muppie? Do you know when it will get its colour? (If it makes it, that is.) I haven't seen it before today, and we did get new mollies at the wekend so it may have been a pregnant one we bought. It is about half a centimeter long but quite fast the time it broke cover.

it is possible. It could also be the new mollies. They could have come home pregnant. It really depends on what trait is more dominant. For example, guppies take about 3-4 weeks to generate very little color, while platys and mollies are born with color. so if you have a golly (guppy/molly) you could have both, some with color, some without, etc.
