I have babies!

So I was watching my fish tonight and spotted a little baby swimming around. Figuring there was more than one I took the main center piece out and found 14 babies total
I'm not sure what type of fish they are since I have two types of livebearers in my tank, mollies and platies.
Now I currently have them in a fish net that i have half in the water hooked in a way that it won't fall down. I know I'm going to petsmart to get a specific type of enclosure to hang on my 20 gallon tank for them, but other than that what do I need?

I'm not sure but there is no way that if they did it would be that fry since I just bought the mollies a few days ago.

I don't think mollies and platy's will breed together. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong)
If they are spotted fry then chances are it was the marble mollies that gave birth.
Best of luck with the new fry and congrats!

Nope no spots on them. Thanks Ken. And I was wondering what do the fry eat?

platy fry feeding and care
Mystic above is a thread that I think you may find helpful, concerning feeding platy fry. I'm sure it will be the same for molly's as well.
Have fun!

Thank you! I bought a breeding net to keep attached to the side of the tank and some food today. All of them are doing well.

Well I just thought I would update. My babies are doing well. I only have 9 now so I lost 5. They are almost a month old which I estimated they were probably born on the 10th of August. I'm still not sure what type of fish they are. They aren't showing any colors.

Yeah that's what I thought was strange because I thought that too. I have danio's, molly's and platy's in that tank. They don't have spots on them so they probably aren't mollies. They do have the body shape of the danio. But danio's are egglayers and I have all females.
