Hey everyone. I'm new to this site but not fishkeeping. I have many years of experience but I recently set up my first community aquarium. It's a 15 gallon fish only aquarium with 1 male fancy guppy, 2 female dwarf sunset platy, and 4 neon tetras. I know how it is researching trying to find good compatible tank mates that's why I started this thread. Male Guppies and female dwarf platies get along great and I don't have to worry about babies. Since these platies are dwarfs they only get to about an inch. The 3 of them are very active and like swimming together. It's kind of funny because the guppy mostly chases the bigger of the two platies. She doesn't seem to bothered by it though which is good. The weird thing is the only place I have seen these dwarf sunset platy is PetSmart. So If anyone is looking for a good livebearer mix try dwarf platies and guppies.

Sounds like a good idea I've always had Platys and Guppies, they get on so well together

Thanks. Yeah these fish are great. They seem rare though. Has anyone found them anywhere besides PetSmart?
