Urgent: Fish dying

Back again lol.. I have an issue with my tank.. The one had cracked and i got stuff to seal it and then we were given two other large tanks and then only thing that was wrong with them was that they needed to be sealed again at the bottom.. I sealed all 3 of them and put a few fish in it and everything was good the issue i had was the bubbles that were on all sides of the tank and the stuff that was in the tank.. Needless to say those fish died.. The others are in 2 ten gallon tanks until i find out what is going on.. Anyone have any idea as to what could have happened? Must you use a certain sealer for the tank? Thanks in advance

aquarium silicone is great..you can get it at most pet stores and even walmart...but has to sit for up to 48 hours depending on what you use....the bubbles were probably a difference in water temp compared to the temp of the tank...

..

So any other sealer used might be an issue and harm the fish? Oh ok because the bubbles were all over the place even started to stick to the fish..

yes other sealer could be toxic...and bubbles sticking to the fish probably means the water was too warm and the fish werent acclimated to it can you test the temp?

I think that is probably the issue. I didnt think about which one to get when i bought it but when i put the fish in it and things went wrong then i thought about it.. Took a lot of work the first time to peel the bottom of the tank and after what just happened i had to do it again.. So i will be going to the store tomorrow to get another sealer. I lost a lot of fish actually i dont even want to say because it is depressing.. Its odd though that the older fish died and i have babies that are maybe 3 weeks old and they did fine.. As for the water doesnt make sense been good with that since i always compare the water with a therm.

Some sealants and glues release toxic gas as they dry, that may have been the cause of the bubbles on the tank and the fish
