I'd vote platies. They're very hardy - as reading some of the posts will prove - plus they're very beautiful.

I think your platys as amanda said, your mollys, your guppies, all about the same..pretty easy all around

what should be the ratio i got 1 male and 2 females in a 5 g tank for now u think that is fine i am getting 29 g tank just for them in a month

the tank is way too small and way overstocked so make sure you keep a good eye on the water parimeters with daily water changes...and most ratio's are 1m to 3-4 females...but your tank couldnt handle that and keep the fish alive..hopefully the new tank comes sooon!

Endlers or H. formosa are about the only livebearers that would work in a tank that small.
And they would rapidly produce too many fry.

it sucks we do not have any endlers here i wish we did they are pretty fish the closest thing is guppys

You're pretty safe with Platties, Mollies and Guppies.. Endlers are great too, but getting harder to find.
