Molly won't stop eating

I have one dalmation molly that just won't stop eating. She chases all the other fish off if they come anywhere near her at feeding time and even after all the food is gone she picks at all of our decorations and the gravel all day long. After feeding time she looks so bloated like she is going to explode...

We have a yellow mystery snail that I want to put some algae wafers in the tank for but she will pick at that until it is all gone...although the snail seems to be growing well, so I'm pretty sure he gets what he needs and we don't put those in there anymore for him.

Is there anything I can do to get my molly to eat less and make sure the others are still getting what they need? Thanks

mollies are infamous pigs!! theres never a doubt about that..I have one also ...shes a total fattie...but, I do feed her first on one side then other on the other..but my fish are all pigs so they deffinately get their share...only thing you could do is remove her and feed her alone or figure a way to get a lil on each side of the tank...LOL @ bellys ..they are big ones

Thanks...we do try to put the food all over the tank...and I guess one thing is she does like to eat the food off fingers. We could try keeping her attention that way a little so the others will have more of a chance...my boys do love to feed her that way anyway.

If she's bigger than the other fish in the tank, she'll bully the others at feeding time.. also, Female Mollies tend to get bigger than males, and so will appear to be eating everything in sight, but her tankmates are eating too, so don't worry.

My molly past away two days ago, but he was also a marbled molly.
He was a HUGE pig just like yours, and he stole food from my female betta.

I've heard they're big eaters, so I doubt there's anything to worry about.
