would it be allright

I have 3 platies and 1 gold dust molly in a 20 gallon tank. Would it be allright if I add 3 neon tetras to the tank? Would they all get along?

I have mollies, platies, and neons in the same tank and they do well together. Its a 29 and there are other fish in it too. Glass catfish, a gourami, ottos, and guppies. All livebearers have had at least one batch of babies each. I have 6 glowlight tetras in my 75 and they school nicely together.

Mack, that would be alright, you could even add 5 or 6 neons so that they are even more comfortable.

(I moved this thread to the livebearer's forum space, because it was in the wrong area. )

WELCOME to FISHLORE, Mack.

Neons do best in schools of 9 or more. They will get along in your tank, but I would suggest you add a few more. You could have 6, but there wouldn't be room in case you want to add a bottom feeder.
