1 Balloon Molly and a bunch of Fancy Tail Guppies

Okay. I have a 10 gallon tank. I have one balloon molly (had two, Einstein died). Then someone gave me some guppies... WAY more than I had expected. I was thinking like 3 and they gave me 9 and 2 fry. I'm trying to find them a new home.. most of them.

Here is what I'm thinking. I want to have my molly, 2-3 guppies... and buy 1-2 more fish to complete my tank. I would like some suggestions on what would look good and get along well with my fish! My balloon molly is orange. The fancy tails are grey with light yellow polka dot tails.

Suggestions?!

How about a dwarf gourami? This can be your 'showcase' fish.....Easy to take care of and should be fine with the mollies and guppies. I would stay away from Bettas as they may see the guppies as an adversary.

Here is my tank.

I'll think about the gourami. Is there anything with a nice graceful fin that I could get?

Gouramis are very graceful, look larger than they actually are and depending upon which one you get are vibrantly colored....I would suggest a betta, but sometimes they have issues with guppies.....Unless you get a female....Typically they aren't as agressive as males and may fit right in....Then there are lyretail mollies too....

Re: 1 Balloon Molly and a bunch of Fancy Tail Guppies

The molly that died was named Einstein.

I went out 1-2 weeks ago and bought a blue striped gourami. He's beautiful! I also bought a female balloon molly for Pinto. She's all white and I named her Lilly. Pinto picked on Lilly so much I had to put him in a time out! I ran out and bought another female for him so Lilly would stand a chance. She's all black (no name yet). In the tank, I also have 1 female guppy (named Jaws by my neighbor Mateo - 4 years old) and I baby guppy named Tiny.
