Hey all - i'm really annoyed, a long while back i bought some live rock and it had a huge sponge right across it, well today I looked in the tank and noticed loads of rubble on the bed, and my sponge.. which i've had for just under a year is GONE?!
Seriously, It was there and fully fine the other day, I've only just noticed its gone completely today.
I have recently put some snails in that i bought, would they eat a sponge?!
Also - when i found the part where the sponge was, there was a hermit crab all over it... I don't know if this is just a coincidence or not.. It's like a murder mystery!! =[
Or does it mean i have a nasty hitch hiker?

it was quite a big sponge, about the size of my hand. But it didn't stick up, it was stort of spread along the rock.
Eiginh, are you implying somebody nicked it?? :P

Maybe... SaltWater is quite expensive. Maybe the sponge moved somewhere else?

nobody could have possible nicked my sponge without me knowing!!
Besides, its not a frag, its actually imbedded onto the rock.. well it was. It just vanished!
