I think I got 'got' by a bristleworm?

Hey all,
I went to the LFS to get some more live rock, and i got 30 pounds worth of rock for only 9 pounds!
Ahem.
So yeah i was putting it in my tank, and i couldn't get this one peice right and then i got an owie
I had cactus like pins in my thumb and it went a little red. Is this from a bristleworm? Or could it be something else?

Oh, ow! (and yeah, ew!). Maybe try putting some antibiotic ointment on it for now -- do you have something called "Neosporin" where you live? It's an off-the-shelf antibiotic ointment; there may be something similar were you live.... Otherwise, I hope you feel better soon and hopefully someone here can offer more insight.

Ouch! I hope your thumb is doing better today! Sorry, I don't have any advice other than what Ilovee mentioned. Neosporin is a good antibiotic ointment for skin.

I had heard that vinegar in the site of something like that can help by dissolving the bristles. Can anyone confirm/deny?
