Hitchikers!! At Long Last!! :d

HELLO!!
I'm sitting at my computer, and i got bored, so i was just staring at my tank (let's face it who doesn't) and then i think i've finally found some hitchikers!!!
Okay so the story is, I'd messed my salt levels up loads to high, and i thought 'awwh nothings gonna survive on this rock now' Accept there was some colourful stuff on the rock, which i later discovered is coraline algae...

But staring at it today, I noticed some little white dots all over my glass, and I was gonna wipe them off with a sponge, I thought it was just dirt, but i thought i'd see what they are first using this website:
http://www.xtalworld.com/Aquarium/hitchfaq.htm
And I believe they are copepods, they're skitting about the glass slowly
I also think I've found a feather duster about the size of my baby finger nail, but i see no tube, just the 'feather' end of it...
And I also found something else near the duster what i was looking at, it seems i thought it was a sponge, but its grey...and slightly furry looking...But it looks like 'melting cheese' kinda material on the rock 0_o

I'm so excited right now, its been so long in there i thought i'd never get any hitchhikers!!

Just wanted to let everyone know!!

OH OH OH
I also forgot to mention:
There is also quite a bit of algae all over the glass wehre the copepods are, and i wanted to remove this, but i think i'd squash them all
Will they remove the algae, or will i just be looking at some green glass for a while (I'm fine with that :L)
And There is also, I've just noticed, lots of dangly bits on the rock...not sure if thats just debris or anything..
And in one small whole it lots of tiny things that look like really tiny anenomies, its not aiptisa (sp?) I think...But i can't ID it...And my camera is too rubbish to get a clear picture =[

OH WOW, SORRY TO TRIPLE POST!! :L
But I THINK I've found something else!! :L
Its like a long brittle tube with a feather duster on the end, but its not as bushy as the other one.... :/ could this be another type? Or could it be something else all together??
WOW EXCITMENT!!

Sounds like you have copepods and little feather dusters. There are lots of different types. I can't help you with your possible anemone ID without a pic, but aiptasia do start out pretty small so you may have those.

Congrats on the hitchhikers (except if you have aiptasia, lol)!

What size is your tank, and what are your plans for it?

it more than likely is aptasia, but i have also recently set up a 35G saltwater tank about 2 months ago and have waving hand sprout out, lots of feather dusters...unfortunatly aptasia and some other coral...even some rather large eel looking critter that pops out only at night. it's crazy what pops out of this stuff

You're true that is is crazy stuff what pops out :L
The size of my tank (to harupa) Is something of a mystery :L
Because I was trying to work out the gallons, USA gallons, litres, US litres, all at the same time and now i'm a bit lost =[
I can give you the measurements if you want - but if you work it out - you have to tell me!! Right now I don't know my plans...Just have liverock and some fish (I've mentioned on a previous thread of mine) And maybe later add corals

I also think that the aiptasia (maybe) might be something else called: FORAMINIFERANS
But mine aren't red...Or at least i don't think they are (colourblind >: ( )
