Hey i was wondering if you could recommend some types of HARDY CORALS AND live rock......

All live rock in basic forms is the same. The only difference is the look. So go with what looks best to you.
As for hardy corals, this is an open question. It really all depends on the light system on your tank, and the water movement.
Some high light corals are easier to keep then low light ones.
In general how ever most mushrooms and soft corals ie. frogspawn, xenia. Are fairly hardy and a good choice for beginers.

I agree with Tumbleweed. I have a number of mushrooms, frogspawn some polyps (plus a few others). The biggest thing will be lighting. I ended up changing my lighting fixture out for a better one and the corals loved it.
