Coralife Deluxe Series?

Hi, I recently got my hand on a coralife deluxe series- single linear strip. I was looking to see if your guys could give me a little bit of advice about the actual strip itself. The fixture came with two 65 watt 50/50 bulbs that are a kind of U shaped, however I realize that for what I want do I need a bulb in the 6700K range. Do they sell 65 watt 6700k bulbs in a U shape? Because every time I've gone to the store I've never seen them if they have them I also just noticed there were these little white rubber bands that were around the bulb but a few of them have seemed to have snapped off. Does anyone know what they are and if they're important? Sorry but Im still not entirely familiar with aquarium lighting.

Yes you can find bulbs online. The rubber bands are to hold the bulbs in place a little better.
To determine what bulb you need look at the end of the bulb and see if it is a sttraight pin or square pin configuration. This is straight pin configuration-

After you know the pin type you can just look up the wattage and length.

thanks so much for the response!
i took it out and it has the straight pin configuration like the picture, and from tip to the pins its about 11 inches. Could I use ordinary rubber bands for the ones that snapped? Do you have any idea why they snapped? Again thank you

Dont use regular rubber bands (possible melting). You can order new bands also...they are cheap. OR you can just skip them. The bands get brittle under the heat.
