15 gallon tank light

Hi I'm upgrading my 15 gallon tanks light and was wondering if this would work for me. aqualight with Colormax and 6700K Fluorescent Lamps - 14W - 24 in. - T-5. The real issue I have is if this will actually fit on top of my tank and not look funny. The tank is 20" long this is suppose to be 24" long and i cant seem to find some decent lighting that will get me about 2 WPG for the length of my tank do you all have any suggestions ? BTW thanks in advance for the advice i know ill get around here !!

Edit: if im not being clear just ask me what information you need to know and ill try and answer to the best of my ability

can you weld? if so it could be easy to fashion mountin brackets to the sides then rest them on the tank sides if not bolts and a drill could do it probably

It would be easier, IMO, to get two 20" fixtures instead of one 24". Then you could get even more WPG and not look funny. :>

yeah thats what i would do. but if you wanna just keep your light with some decent mechanical skills you can make it look right im a fabricater in a suspension shop so stuff like that is cake but i agree with kunsthure thts the simpler way
