So I bought an Eclipse 6 aquarium about 3 weeks ago off of Drs.F&S, and the bulb stopped working right last week (ends light, but not the middle). So I just registered the product, no receipt needed, and called their service department. Guess who has a new hood on the way now, no charge? The guy said it sounded like the ballast, so he's sending me a whole new hood!
I'm definitely sold on Marineland customer service now.

I love Marineland products! Especially their filters and in-hood filtration systems (like your Eclipse 6). I wonder how good they are about getting replacement parts for used equipment.

Yeap They are good on that. A few weeks ago My heater for the 55 wouldn't control the temp it was way too hot. It was a Stealth 200W and because it was less than a year old they sent me a new one, but they sent me the Stealth Pro.
