light stopeed working

As I was moving the hood one corner of the light fixture slipped into the water. It worked for a short while then stopped working. Is it the starter, bulb or do I need a complete light kit. Thank you for any help you can provide.

probably no more than the starter. Let it dry out well....good and dry. Reseat the bulb and the starter after it is dry and ought to work. I have a 4 foot light assembly and one end has been swimming a couple of times....lol...still working!

The contacts for the bulb will clean as you reseat it...corrosion is has because of the electronics.

oops and of course unplug it first
