does anyone know where i can find medium lighting for a 55 gallon tank? i have not seen any at petstores but would they have what i am looking for at walmart or someplace like that? i have a few live plants that are doing ok in my low lighting right now but i think they would do better with higher Wattage bulbs in my tank.

I'm not sure about Wal-Mart or the LFS, but I found a double-strip T5 HO light with two 6700K bulbs on eBay for only $50! The whole thing arrived yesterday in perfect condition - even the bulbs were bubble-wrapped within the fixture. :P I can get you the seller's name if you'd like, since I think he/she offers a variety of aquarium light fixtures.
