Does anybody know if acetate, it's a thing you buy at a craft store that's like a sheet of plastic would melt if put uner a strip light to keep water from getting up into it or not?

On my 2.5 gallon I have a sheet of lexan to cover the tank and I use a 4W strip light. The heat slightly warps the lexan but it doesn't melt. My sheet is about 1/8th of an inch thick.

Mine's a lot thiner than that, little thicker than paper and would be under a 20w light, it might melt.
