best 55 gallon light

I have a "hand-me-down" Oceanic 55 Gallon tank that I'm setting up (freshwater). The light it has is pretty old and can't be connected to a timer. Any suggestions for a 48" light? I may eventually want to have live plants. Right now, I'm just going to get started with some artificial plants.

I've looked at the Nova Extreme (model 1129). It has two bulbs. One pink and one white. It has a total of 108 watts. Anyone familiar with this fixture or can anyone suggest a good light for my tank?

Here's a link to the Extreme.

The light you posted has actinic bulbs which are fine for reef or saltwater tanks but for freshwater you are better off with 6500K-10000K bulbs.
current-usa makes decent lights as do Coralife and others.
Here is the one I am putting on my 55 gln. 3x54 watts
Be aware with this much lighting you would need Co2 added for plants. Without plants this would be too much lighting. It has 2 on off switches however so you can have one bulb, two bulbs or three bulbs on at the same time. It gives you a lot of flexibility and allows you to grow into it at your own pace. Also a good price!

There was a freshwater fixture shown as well. It has a pink light which is for freshwater plants and a 10,000K also for a total of 48 watts. I couldn't find a price. I'm looking for a good light for live plants as the one that came on my tank is not enough.
