Just got a 29 gallon tank for free which came with a Eclipse 3 lighting/filter hood. I've decided to trash it and get an aquaclear 70.

My question is, I am looking for a good replacement for my tank and was thinking about getting one of these:

Anyone had any luck with this? I'm not looking for something special. This hood covers the entire top of the tank correct?

Hi there,
yes, that hood cover/light will cover the whole top of your tank. It should come with cut outs for you to make room for your filter in the back.
The front flap opens the length of the tank for easy access. A few of my tanks has this hood/light.
