So putting together a new tank for baby cichlids and had to upgrade the light on it since didn't like the old one and had so many ideas form the forum. So here it goes the light in the top is the original and bottom is the new upgraded.

Nice and easy upgrade. It's amazing how well the white paint works as reflector. I've been applying the forum's ideas too.

I got to get the bulbs for it because the ones I had in the house are like soft white and they shine like yellowish. Other than that works like a champ. The paint I got is a new one made by rush oleum for plastic let say this dries super fast.
