School me on Moon lights

I have read a few things about moon lights think they are kinda kewl,

My questions are what kind should i get (if i get one)post link.

2nd Do the fish like moon lights??

Hello. Sorry I can't really answer you from experience with moon lights. If you'll do a search at the top of the page for moon lights, I'm sure there are other threads already about the subject that may help until someone comes along with more detail. Good luck!

I ordered some off ebay a few weeks ago. I really like them. Mine are made by what I'm guessing is a home business in OK. They look like a strand of Christmas lights. Hubby helped my mount them inside my current lights and it was pretty easy. I turn mine on around 9pm and leave them on all night. I think the fish like them. As a matter of fact, I've seen a couple of fish that I really havent seen since I've put them in the tank months ago! My pictus catfish have really been more 'out and about' since I've installed them.

So as long are they are not to bright it does not affect the fish correct. Or do some fish like black pretty much

Actually a moon light will help with breeding! Specially with nocturnal fishes. I get to see my Queen Arabesque pleco every night now. It's wonderful!!! Enjoy!
