Is there any other parameters of lighting that matters besides the Color Temperature ? Like lumens and Color Rendering ?

That depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make the tank look good to the human eye, to grow plants, or both?

I'm of the opinion that color temperature is a fairly useless metric unless you're comparing bulbs of the same manufacturer.

Looking to make the tank look good mostly and secondly to provide some lighting for my few live plants. My tank is near a large window so it gets alot of light during the day (i live in South Africa) and the plants are in fair condition even with no fish tank lights.

What would you suggestion to look for i have a 55 Gallon tank.
