Day light bulb?

So as of now in my 55 gal i have 3 electric yellow cichlids and 4 blue johanni cichlids. they are magnificent looking fish and i want to get two daylight bulbs to replace the ones i have now to show off their colors even more. the only thing i'm worried about is will it increase the growth of algae? i know you want a certain amount especially for cichlids but i don't want it taking over my tank. Does anyone have any idea or any experience in using day light bulbs?

I am adding my 2 cents - with daylight bulbs 5500K to 6500K full spectrum - imho its comes down to how much wattage per gallon (as a simple rule for FO tanks) and not the actual spectrum of a daylight bulb. Look at the rated wattage of the bulb you have or are buying 1w - 2 w per gallon is considered low light. There can be other causes of algae bloom with low watts per gallon. I use daylight bulbs on my FO tanks and i run at approx 2w - 3w per gallon. I also watch my phosphates carefully - and i use a phosphate reactor. While i have diatoms sometimes and algae that i consider benificial for my plecos i don't have problems with nuisance algae (blooms, hair, etc or bacteria slimes).
