Bulb Help

Hello, my friend told me theres a fish tank bulb that glows off of black gravel anyone know what this bulb is? I think its UV.

I don't know but a UV light for an aquarium would not refer to the light that you see on top of the tank. A UV light for an aquarium would be an enclosed unit that the water gets pumped through so the UV light can kill bacteria and algae.
