| I bought a coralife mini compact fluorescent online from Big Al's...when it arrived, it was PINK light (the bulb looked white). Not quite what I had in mind, I returned it. I hated the yellowish light of the incandescent light in my 5g; I don't have plants though. Recently I bought a Marineland mini compact fluorescent bulb meant to replace the light in their eclipse systems (must be different models, bc those wouldn't work in my eclipse 3) anyway it's wonderful. White light, just like that in a tube in a larger fixture, and it fit in perfectly. Pricey though (~$16.50 at Petsmart). |
