what type of bulb should i get???

I have a" 24" marineland natural daylight florescent f18t8 ",i have live plants, black neons, neons, cardinals & glow light tetras<- witch dont like bright light, is there a bulb that my plants & tetras will like..

What you have probably is 18W T8. most of day Flo bulb should be ok with tetra.
Used to use total of 80 W Fl (Full Spect triton, Vitalite, 10K day, Actic 03) or 110W (1 x 55W 6700K + 1 x 55W 50/50; 10k day/Act 03) on 20H, some with timers to simulate the sun somewhat.

Since you only have one light bulb, can use 6500-6700K Day light which is little dimmer and yellowish than standard Flo/10K day for plant unless able to accomodate extra light strip.
