Oblivion

My bulb just went out on my tank. It's a 29g TopFin one...you know, those starter tanks at PetSmart. Can someone give me the specific bulb I need?

Take out the old and take it to Petsmart. They should have replacement blb on products they sold.

Well...I don't trust them because usually they have no idea what they are talking about. I have a LFS near me, so I was going to go there, and it's cheaper there.

The bulb should have the wattage on it somewhere. Find one the same physical size and wattage, and you'll be fine.

You can take it to your LFS and say you need to replace it, and they should be able to find you a replacement.

If in doubt take the lamp assembly to the store. Ask for standard aquarium lights, you don't need to buy expensive 50/50 -reef/coral use. Just in case a LFS "sales-pusher" suggest you do, stay put for standard fluorescent!
