Replacement info needed.

My old light on top of my 20 tall has 2 fl14 bulbs in it. They been in the light for over 15 years but still work. I think i am getting just over 1 WPG. Would like to get something a little brighter. What would you all reccommend for replacement bulbs? I dont wanna have to replace the whole fixture, which for me right now is not possible. Thanks...

how much can the fixture do? if it can only do 1 wpg, then you'll either have to retrofit your fixture, get a 2nd light, or get a new fixture... if it is just the bulbs, then I am sure someone at your LFS could help you...

Any info on what type of fixture would help. Main thing you want to find out is what is the max wattage the fixture can handle. If the bulbs are 15 yrs old, new ones would make it a little brighter as bulbs dim over time naturally. Getting bulbs that are 6500K color would also make it appear brighter as they are whiter rather then yellow.
