24" strip light wattage

Ok, I thought maybe this question would get more attention here.

I am redoing the lighting on my 20 gallon tank. I got a glass cover today. Now I'm looking for a strip light to go on top. All of the 24" strips I've been able to find are only for 15W bulbs, and I want at least 20, but 30-40 is much preferred. Does anyone know what my options are here?
Thanks

I think thats pretty much standard for that size light. You could always use a double strip light.

Ok
Well, I went to the hardware store (Home Depot) just now, and turns out they have aquarium bulbs and such! Never would have guessed. I got a double fixture with 2 20W bulbs, so I'm going to have 2WPG! And I think I can get a DIY CO2 thing made pretty quick.
I'm excited

I'm glad they do. I saved at least $20, and it has 10W more than the one I saw at petsmart.

What type of bulbs are you looking into? The bulbs that have a higher spectral range usually have higher wattage.Standard 24" bulbs are standard at 15 watts, but specified "plant growing" lights are 18 to 24 watts.

HAHA we were posting at the same time, congrats on the lights.
