i recently bought an aquarium off of craigslist to upgrade for my crayfish....





I has a stand and canopy but the back of the canopy is completely open. Crayfish are very good escape artists so i need to have every gap closed off....


how can i find a hood that will fit it?

or ive heard some people cover aquariums with screen or wire.... how does that work and how can i use that to effectively block any possible escape routes?

Try looking at your local pet/fish store, they sell a variety of clear plastic covers that connect to the back of most canopys, they can also be trimmed to fit around heaters and filters. Using a screen might be a little more difficult to effectively seal off the tank from escaping crayfish lol.
