Reflectors Worth It?

I would like to know if anyone here has ever purchased reflectors? I am looking at getting more light into my Juwel RIO 125 and if the info I have read is to be believed these are supposed to double the light. My rio 125 has the original 2 x 18W tubes that have been in the tank since it was set up last August.

Is it worth me purchasing a pair of reflectors or any suggestions?

For saltwater yes i have. Would it help? Probably. Would it be worth it with those lights? Ehh, not sure i'd do it. If i had more light and something like T5s yeah.

You can always DIY it and go Alluminum foil. Or scrap metal/mirror.

Another lighting question

I have had my Juwel RIO 125 aquarium for 1 year it has the original lights 1 x 18W WARMLITE & 1 x 18W DAYLITE

I would like to know what are my upgrade options as I see there are 590mm 28W Hi-Lights available would these 28W T5 Highlights work in my tanks original hood/lid?

I believe my original lights are T8 and not T5 and my tubes are only 18W

Thx

Don't know about the second question, but getting some sort of reflector (DIY is a good idea) is good. Anything that squeezes more light into the aquarium without adding to the power cost is good, in my opinion.
